Bankston Lumber Company, founded in 1929, is a successful, family owned organization of dedicated professionals. We conduct business honestly and with integrity. We respect and support each other, our customers, our community, and our vendors. We provide building products and value added services while establishing long term relationships with our building contractors, subcontractors, and tradesmen. Where opportunities exist, we offer speciality products and services for consumer, commercial, and governmental customers. We strive for excellence in all ventures and dedicate ourselves to our customers.

We are a member of Lumberman's Merchandising Corporation, a 2 billion dollar per year buying group. We feature industry leading suppliers such as Marvin, Peachtree, James Hardie siding, Timberline shingles, USG sheetrock, Owens Corning, and others. We are an active supporter of our industry. Chuck Bankston currently serves on the board of directors for the National Lumber Building Materials association in Washington, D.C. and the Construction Suppliers Association in Atlanta, Georgia. We also enjoy supporting our local schools and other community organizations.

Vision Statement
BLC will be the best regional supplier of building materials, primarily to the professional trade, and secondarily to the consumer. We will use competitive pricing, time-sensitive deliveries, quality materials, job site sales force, billing by jobs, and the best trained and motivated employees to accomplish our vision. We will be helpful, courteous, and professional to each other and our customers. We will use Christian business principals to operate our business.
